Financial Overview — Staged Funding Framework
AIDE’s financial planning is structured around staged validation and measured progression.
Capital is matched to the evidence required at each stage, with later funding dependent on what earlier work actually proves.
Tranche 1 funds the Proof-of-Concept evidence stage. Phase 2 funding proceeds only after a binding GO determination, with Market Release considered later from Pilot evidence.
Financial Model Status
AIDE’s financial model is being reconciled to the current Proof-of-Concept scope, provider quotes and confirmed development pathway. Funding is intended to support clearly defined evidence workstreams rather than premature product build.
Updated financial modelling will align with:
- current SoW and quote-pack structure
- provider quote responses
- Tranche 1 Proof-of-Concept workstreams
- combined-source validation requirements
- Phase 2 MVP Pilot planning
- staged progression milestones
Investment Staging
AIDE’s development pathway is structured around staged funding aligned to validation milestones.
Each stage is intended to progressively establish:
- technical feasibility and accounting-signal capability
- whether operational data materially improves the accounting foundation
- SME owner acceptance and practical usefulness
- intermediary and channel viability
- privacy, security, legal and professional readiness
- a bounded Phase 2 MVP Pilot definition
Specific funding requirements and timing will be finalised as current provider costs and the Tranche 1 financial reconciliation are completed.
Investment Rationale
The Tranche 1 investment case is based on disciplined uncertainty reduction rather than assumed commercial returns.
- Capital funds a bounded Proof-of-Concept evidence stage
- Progression is controlled by a binding GO / ABANDON determination
- The proposition is tested before substantial product-build capital is committed
- SME owner acceptance and operational-data value are tested directly
- Privacy, security, legal and channel risks are examined before Phase 2
- A GO creates the pathway to a separately funded MVP Pilot Phase
The purpose of Tranche 1 is to determine whether AIDE has earned the right to further investment.
